Frew Park

ADLT Lighting Project

Overview

Brisbane City Council wanted to do something special with the old Milton Tennis Site, turning it into a family recreational park with plenty of activities for the kids to play.

They also wanted it to be a competition and club Tennis Center to attract clubs to play at the center.

For the pathways and car parking areas, The EDGE area cut off luminaire was picked for it design and and exceptional light control. This center is in the heart of residential properties so glare and spillage was a very important part of the brief.

The Tennis Center has been named after one of our greats, the legendary Roy Emerson, winner of 12 Grand Slam singles and 16 Grand Slam Doubles titles. The Roy Emerson Tennis Center now is lit by our AVV 1000W Aerodome luminaires, chosen for their cut off and superior performance to meet the brief for Australian Standard for competition and club level tennis.

Lighting design was provided by Advanced Lighting for the pathways and Tennis Center.
