Ringwood Railway Station

ADLT Lighting Project

Overview

Ringwood Railway Station, located in Melbourne’s Outer-Eastern suburbs, is an important transport hub providing both railway and bus services to the local community 7 days a week. A recent $66m upgrade carried out on behalf of Public Transport Victoria (PTV) has delivered a vibrant, safer, more accessible and attractive place for commuters to visit. Included in the redevelopment was upgraded lighting to both the station platforms, bus interchange, surrounding car parks and other areas.

Advanced Lighting Technologies (ADLT) products had to meet the strict lighting standards of Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), while providing visual comfort and performance. Both the Cree LEDway and Cree Edge Series Area Light were supplied, improving the aesthetic during day and night.
