Fire & Rescue Station

ADLT Lighting Project

Overview

TUGGERANONG FIRE & RESCUE-STATON

High demands on light-distribution and architectural appearance were overcome by the use of CREE EDGE, with bi-level operation for the interior and the EDGE on CREE poles for the exterior.

Bi-level operation was used for its flexibility with matching surrounding (day)light-levels, as well the various modes of operation of the site itself. CREE's Nano Optics provide, along with LED's low power-consumption optimal distribution of light and energy-savings, while the sleek "look" of the luminaires satisfied the architects.

There is no light above the horizontal plane for contribution to the Dark Sky.

The flexible lighting at this new fire & rescue-station will be of benefit to its operators for many years to come.
