The Brisbane City Council tendered for Sports Lighting for the Darien Sports Complex.
The Tender called for the design of Sports lighting for Soccer allowing two levels of play - Amateur and Training as per Australian Standard 2560.2.3, and Part 2.3,Specific applications—Lighting for football (soccer).
This project included the supply and certification of the lighting system, including the aiming of the luminaires.
This involved the detailed design, supply, aiming, testing and commissioning of the sports fields allowing for the future potential change of use of the sports ground to AFL (circular ground).
The sports lighting at the grounds had to conform to Australian Standard 2560.2.3, in particular Part 2.3: "Specific applications - Lighting for football - and Australian Standard 4282,Obtrusive lighting".
Advanced Lighting Technologies were also invited to design and supply lighting for numerous carpark's through the complex including all disability carpark's
The Project was completed on time and under budget.
