Located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, this brand-new commercial development project required exterior area and car park lighting that had to be compliant with category AS 1158 sub-category P11(B).
Advanced Lighting Technologies (ADLT) were faced with a number of challenges, specifically related to the building’s disabled car parking spaces; lights couldn’t be mounted to the beautiful glass façade of the building, nor could a tall light pole scheme be used as it would detract from the buildings aesthetics.
ADLT designed a custom lighting solution using 3 meter poles with a custom-engineered plate to fit the Cree XSPW Wall Mount luminaire. Designed from the bottom up as a totally-optimised LED area luminaire, the XSPW delivers incredible efficiency, without sacrificing application performance. The XSP Series can provide increased value while displacing incumbent technologies up to 175W. It’s sleek, low-profile design fit in perfectly with the clients’ visual requirements while providing compliant lighting for the disabled spaces.
