QUT Undercover Car Park

ADLT Lighting Project

Overview

Queensland University of Technology's (QUT) Kelvin Grove campus is situated close to Brisbane’s CBD and houses the University’s Creative Industries, Education and Health faculties.

Advanced Lighting Technologies (ADLT)
supplied the Cree CPY Series LED luminaire to better illuminate a transition zone into a multi-level, undercover car park. Transition lighting requires very high levels of illumination in order to assist drivers with adapting from daylight to artificial light levels as they drive into car parks.

The Cree CPY Series is the perfect solution for transition lighting as it offers a high lumen output while using less energy than traditional lighting methods. It's low-profile design is also much less obtrusive than older, shoebox-style luminaires.

As the CPY Series is designed to be installed into a canopy-style roof, ADLT also supplied custom made trim-kits to allow for surface mounting.
